EXAMPLE OF BASIC INTERIOR PAINT
SET UP:
Large
furniture (sofas, desks, entertainment units) are moved
into the center of the room and covered with clean plastic
drop cloth, tarps.
ROOM/AREA PREPARATION:
Nail
heads, holes, cracks, open seam areas are filled.
All
walls and ceilings are sanded to be ready for paint.
Any
imperfections, stains from water, smoke, mold are sealed.
Cleaning
is done as necessary.
APPLYING THE FINISH COAT:
New
construction areas are primed.
Two
coats of finish is applied with brushes, rollers, or
a sprayer.
Ceilings,
walls and trim areas are painted to match homeowners
specifications.
CUSTOMER INSPECTION:
Job
supervisor walks though entire work area, touch up areas
are discussed and completed before crew leaves the job
site.
COMPLETION OF THE JOB:
All
furniture is moved back to original positions.
All
carpet and floors areas are swept and vacuumed as necessary.
All
construction material, garbage, tarps, and drop cloths
are removed.
Unused
finish coat material is left for the customer.
